News Flash! Condoleezza Rice Two Degrees of Sexual Separation from Bill Clinton

And who isn't these days? The New York Times had an interesting gossip piece last week about a possible romance between U.S. Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice and Canadian Foreign Minister Peter MacKay. The evidence is pretty weak (they are both single and on a first name basis), but there is no doubt that that two are quite affectionate around each other. All of this is coming on the heels of MacKay's recent break-up with his girlfriend, Liberal MP Belinda Stronach.

But wait a minute. Belinda Stronach... Why does that name seem so familiar? Oh no! She is the young, blond, and athletic woman that Bill Clinton was rumored to be involved with in an another, equally speculative, New York Times article:

Several prominent New York Democrats, in interviews, volunteered that they became concerned last year over a tabloid photograph showing Mr. Clinton leaving B.L.T. Steak in Midtown Manhattan late one night after dining with a group that included Belinda Stronach, a Canadian politician. The two were among roughly a dozen people at a dinner, but it still was enough to fuel coverage in the gossip pages.

There you go. Rock-solid evidence. That's good enough for me.
